I’ve always believed that life is made up of ordinary moments that quietly become the ones we treasure most. The sleepy newborn stretches, the way your toddler reaches for your hand, the laughter that fills your home, the people you never want to forget. These are the moments that deserve to be remembered.
I’m a Wyoming girl, wife to my husband Blake, and mama to our daughter, Emma. Becoming a mom has made me deeply nostalgic for the moments I’m still living. Every stage feels fleeting, and I find myself wanting to hold onto the little things before they become memories. It’s a feeling that has completely transformed the way I approach photography.
Several years ago, my younger sister, Payton, passed away unexpectedly at just 19 years old. Losing her forever changed the way I see photographs. They became more than beautiful images—they became tangible pieces of the people we love and the moments we can never get back.
Payton always said she didn’t care what she became as long as she was happy. Her words gave me the courage to pursue the dream I’d carried since I was a little girl.
Today, every session I photograph is about preserving more than smiles. It’s about documenting your story honestly.. the love, the connection, and the tiny in-between moments that one day will mean everything. My hope is that years from now, your images won’t just remind you of what life looked like, but exactly how it felt.

My photography style is rooted in images that feel honest, timeless, and deeply emotional while carrying the refined, editorial quality of a luxury publication. I believe the most meaningful photographs are the ones that don’t just show what a moment looked like, but what it felt like.
Rather than relying on stiff poses, I gently guide you with intentional direction that encourages natural movement and genuine connection. The wind in your hair, your child reaching for your hand, the laughter between embrace - those are the moments I’m always watching for.
My goal is to preserve life as it’s unfolding and transform the beautiful chaos into something that feels quiet, effortless, and frozen in time. The result is a gallery that feels cinematic, artful, and authentically you.

One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “Where did the name Hazel & Honey come from?”
The truth is, it simply came to me one day and immediately felt right. As I built this business, I knew I wanted its name to hold meaning beyond myself.
Hazel & Honey is, in many ways, a tribute to my younger sister, Payton. She is the reason I found the courage to pursue this dream, and her life continues to shape the way I see the world. She had a remarkable ability to notice beauty everywhere—in the warmth of golden light, in quiet moments after a storm, and in the people around her.
I hope this business reflects the way she lived: finding beauty in the ordinary and preserving it before it slips away.
